MY TRAVEL PLANS FOR 2015

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Kahoots.  Apparently, you can't go alone.  You have to be in Kahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito.  I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there.  I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I’m thinking about visiting in Decision, but I can’t make up my mind….I’ve heard there is so much to see that it’s hard to choose what to do.

I have also been in Doubt.  That is a sad place to go and I try not to visit there too often. I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older. One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense!  It  really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart!  At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, but I don't remember what country I was in.  It's an age thing. They tell me it is very wet and damp there.

Thanks MJ.  This really brightened my day!

Hey, Mon!

As I sit here scouring the web for lack of nothing better to do, I wondered what else was out there.  Our last 5 trips have been to Europe, and while I'd be thrilled to do either a Med cruise or a Baltic cruise, with what's going on in the world, would something a little closer to home and tropical be more appealing?

After 25 years of trying, I finally won the Bricker cruise in 2012.  Having never traveled further south or east into the Caribbean than the Bahamas, it seemed like the logical choice to head south.  We took a Western Caribbean cruise after the Biloxi conference in 2004, but the southern Caribbean is gorgeous.  There are some very cool cruises that will take you to places like Columbia, Panama, and Costa Rica.  Picture it...a nice tropical cruise in January or February when it's crappy, cold and snowy.

As and example, we could get a 7 day cruise from San Juan, Puerto Rico to St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Aruba, and Curacao (balcony) for $849 (and that's without a sale or freebies).  Spend the weekend in San Juan and visit El Yunque (the rain forest which is amazing), and going over MLK weekend means only 5 days of vaca.

Or, a visit to some of the "Saints" and Martinique - which is a newer stop on the Caribbean cruises.  You leave out of Fort Lauderdale, which is an easy flight for most of us.

Out of Puerto Rico...

Someone recently told me they wanted to visit the Turks & Caicos...

Some of you have asked about South America and it's somewhere we've never been.  But it's a big-ass continent and there's no way to see it all, so you pick and choose.  14 nights to Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile.  Or You can do a 7-8 night in Brazil and Argentina.

So many choices, so little time and even less money!
